BTEX – Companion 1 Portable GC

The DPS Companion 1 GC Systems are a new breed of GC. They are the first portable GC where you can select 1 of 4 available detectors. Allowing you to do more work in the field than ever before. From Environmental to Forensic, and Petrochemical to Quality Control Applications. This video highlights the analysis of BTEX compounds using a FID detector. Remember, the Companion 1 GC goes where ever you need it.

BTEX in Air – Series 600 Lab GC

The DPS Series 600 is for all of those applications where you need a GC to sit in a fixed position. In this applications 2 sample streams are connected to the GC. One through a sample loop, and the other concentrated on a sorbent Trap. This permits a broad concentration range of compound to be analyzed on the same GC. Custom GC´s are what DP S Instruments is about, and this is a great example of our capabilities.

Mud-Logging – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS Mud-Logging GC Systems are designed to simultaneously analyze C1 – C5 Hydrocarbon gases, and Total Hydrocarbon Content (THC) in the Drilling Mud. Then Log the Heating Value and THC to match each drilling depth. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using 2 highly sensitive FID detectors to individually identify and calculate these compounds every 2 minutes, 24/7. Without question, the same configuration is available in our Series 600 Lab GC.

Natural Gas – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS Natural Gas GC Systems are designed to analyze Permanent Gases and C1 – C6 Hydrocarbons. Then automatically calculate the Heating Value after each run. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using highly sensitive HID & FID detectors and 2 columns to identify all of these compounds. The same configuration is available in our Series 600 Lab GC as well.

PermaGas + Hydrocarbons – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS PermaGas + Hydrocarbons GC Systems are designed to analyze Permanent Gases, and C1 – C6 Hydrocarbons. As an option, also higher boiling hydrocarbons up to C30+. All are alalyzed at the same time. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using highly sensitive HID & FID detectors and 3 columns to identify all of these compounds. Clearly, the same configuration is available in our Series 600 Lab GC.

PermaGas + Sulfur Compounds – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS PermaGas + Sulfur GC Systems are designed to analyze Permanent Gases, C1 – C6 Hydrocarbons and light Sulfur compounds, all at the same time. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using highly sensitive HID & PID detectors and 3 columns. Which separate and identify all of these compounds. Of course, the same configuration is available in our Series 600 Lab GC.

Sulfur markers in Fuels – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS Sulfur GC Systems are designed to analyze all kinds of sulfur containing compounds in many different kinds of matrices. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using a highly sensitive FPD detector to identify sulfur markers in fuels. Sulfur markers are added to fuels at a known percentage and later analyzed. This can tell if the dealers are diluting the high quality fuel with inferior products to make a larger profit.

TOGA – Transformer Oil Gas Analysis

The DPS TOGA GC Systems are designed to analyze oil from electrical insulation materials that may have decomposed under thermal, or electrical stresses. The gaseous decomposition products indicate the type of fault inside the transformer. Routine analyses of transformer oil can help prevent dangerous situations, such as Explosions! TOGA GC Systems are available in Companion 2 Portable and Series 600 Lab GC configurations.

Installing a FCO in a Companion 2 Portable GC

Installing a FCO in either a Series 600 Lab GC, or a Portable Companion GC is simple and easy. One dedicated FCO can be built-in using the standard DPS Control Software to adjust the temperature parameters. For 2 FCO´s to operate we need to add the external Control Module from GC Ovens. With 2 FCO´s installed the GC can operate as a dual oven GC.
