BTEX – Companion 1 Portable GC

The DPS Companion 1 GC Systems are a new breed of GC. They are the first portable GC where you can select 1 of 4 available detectors. Allowing you to do more work in the field than ever before. BTEX in Air – Series 600 Lab GC

The DPS Series 600 is for all of those applications where you need a GC to sit in a fixed position. In this applications 2 sample streams are connected to the GC. One through a sample loop, and the other concentrated on a sorbent Trap. This permits a broad concentration range of compound to be analyzed on the same GC. Custom GC´s are what DP S Instruments is about, and this is a great example of our capabilities.


Mud-Logging – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS Mud-Logging GC Systems are designed to simultaneously analyze C1 – C5 Hydrocarbon gases, and Total Hydrocarbon Content (THC) in the Drilling Mud. Then Log the Heating Value and THC to match each drilling depth. Sulfur markers in Fuels – Companion 2 Portable GC

The DPS Sulfur GC Systems are designed to analyze all kinds of sulfur containing compounds in many different kinds of matrices. This video highlights the use of a Companion 2 Portable GC using a highly sensitive FPD detector to identify sulfur markers in fuels. Sulfur markers are added to fuels at a known percentage and later analyzed. This can tell if the dealers are diluting the high quality fuel with inferior products to make a larger profit.

Installing a FCO in a Companion 2 Portable GC

Installing a FCO in either a Series 600 Lab GC, or a Portable Companion GC is simple and easy. One dedicated FCO can be built-in using the standard DPS Control Software to adjust the temperature parameters. For 2 FCO´s to operate we need to add the external Control Module from GC Ovens. With 2 FCO´s installed the GC can operate as a dual oven GC.
